For me, that calling has taken many forms.

A microphone in front of a sports arena. A real estate deal in a city I barely knew. A television series filmed across the most beautiful corners of the world. And eventually — inevitably — a one-way ticket to a country I'd never lived in before.

The entrepreneur in me was moving from the beginning. Jack of all trades and master of none is not an insult to me.

Episode after episode, I watched people walk into the right geography — and transform.

They stood differently. Breathed differently. Something I didn't yet have a name for.

The Decision

so I did what I had been encouraging others to do.

I moved.
