My job description includes traveling around the world and experiencing a broad spectrum of cultures, people and lifestyles. I wanted to dedicate a page to some of the more interesting events and ideas that I have recently recognized in the world around us. Whether I’m sharing comments, quotations, or occurrences because they made me laugh, question, or find cause for concern, the commonality is that I believe these are worth a second thought. On a personal, local, or global level, these will be the topics and tangents that I wanted to share most of all, because even at the crazy pace we live in, they were thought provoking enough to make me pause.
